What makes an employee a late applicant?

Employee enrolment forms should be completed and sent to our office within 31 days of their effective date. For example, an employee's hire date is January 15 and there is a 3 month waiting period. The employee would be eligible for coverage April 15 and you would have until May 16 to get the completed enrolment form to the bClear benefits office. Should paperwork be received after the effective date, the employee is considered a late applicant and additional paperwork would be required.
