Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)

The employee and family assistance program of bClear benefits gives employees and their family access to qualified and confidential counselling services. Employee and family members can access this service for help in resolving personal or work-related problems. Here are some examples of why a person might seek out a counsellor:

  • Separation and divorce
  • Addictions and substance abuse
  • Depression
  • Stress or anxiety
  • Family violence and abuse
  • Grief and loss
  • Trauma
  • Conflict resolution
  • Child and eldercare issues
  • Financial problems
  • Legal problems
  • Work-related concerns
  • Nutrition counselling

Employers can also access services for help in dealing with various situations that might arise in the workplace.

We have partnered with one of the largest EFAP providers in Canada, Family Services Employee Assistance Programs (FSEAP), to bring you the highest qualified and most widely available access to counsellors throughout BC. All of FSEAPís counsellors have at least a masterís degree in counselling or social work, together with at least five years of clinical experience. Services are completely confidential to the fullest extent permitted by law.
