Quest Volunteer Day
by Natasha Kothary on 6/24/2016 5:18:57 PM

Yesterday our team had the opportunity to volunteer at Quest Food Exchange, a not-for-profit organization that provides affordable, good quality food to people facing food security challenges in the community. Quest relies heavily on volunteer support to help them do what they do, and we are so thankful that we got to take part in helping such a great cause.

Our teamís fun and outgoing nature were well suited at Quest, as we were able to joke around with their staff and make our volunteer experience something to remember. Here are Nina and Charlene getting to know the fish on a personal level.

Our organizational skills were put to the test as we tried to make our team as efficient as possible. We thought we were doing fantastic and getting all the tasks done quickly, until the staff at Quest decided to challenge us with the never ending task of repackaging chocolate. This is a weakness for many people on our team and it took all their will power to resist eating the chocolates themselves.

Our experience at Quest was very positive and we would like to encourage others to get involved. Opportunities are available for individuals and corporate groups. For more information on how you can volunteer, please visit: http://www.questoutreach.org/volunteer/
