Is employee salary information up to date?

Employees' salaries affect coverage for Disability and/or Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment. Because of this, it is important to keep all employees' salary information up to date.

Further Enhancements to Group Critical Illness

Along with the enhancements we previously communicated, we're pleased to inform you of two additional enhancements:

• The age to claim on the group critical illness benefit has been extended from age 70 to age 75, with a reduction in the benefit by 50% at age 70.

• Currently employees must be covered for Critical Illness for a period of 24 months before a claim would be considered eligible and this has now been reduced to 12 months.

2016 Annual Client Satisfaction Survey

Office Changes

We’ve had a few changes in the office!

Colleen Cadez has been with bClear benefits since April 2011. In that time, her role has primarily been about enhancing the client experience for our member groups. Her new title as Director, Client Consulting and Development will be an opportunity to bring the same client focus to our prospective new member groups and continue to grow the Trust to ensure the long term stability of our pool.

David Main joined bClear benefits as the Director of Finance and Administration in May this year. David has been a consultant for us since 2005 and we are happy that he is now part of our team. He is our go-to guy for all things numerical in the office.
